In collaboration with Bass=Win label and Juno Downloads, the drum ans bass band L.A.O.S. organized a remix contest of their track “Warrin“.
In the classic way, they gave some separated parts of the original track and remixers were allowed to remix it the way they want.
As it was my first remix working this way, it was very interesting and I really “played” with the samples. I cut one lead synth to separate each note, then created my own tune using the available notes.
Percussion is all mine too, and the rest is from the samples, with effect, reverse, …
